About Whoozy

Whoozy is a life-style brand that aims to bring a rush of excitement to Solana. The collection is built around the early 90’s era hip-hop and 2000’s skate culture.
Carefully curated colour palettes, captivating visuals, and a touch of nostalgia converge to form a distinct brand identity.

 

  • The Whoozy Production Hub 

This will be a B2B hub offering high quality merch services to projects to provide for their communities. Products include T-shirts, motorcycle jackets, denim jackets, bucket hats, raincoats, sports jerseys, sweaters and vintage shirts.

  • Game 

The Whoozyverse will be a game built using Unreal Engine 5. The purpose is to provide value and opportunities within by holding weekly and monthly competitions, treasure hunts and royale events. Beta version is ready and will be available shortly after launch.

Whoozy believes in delivering real, tangible value to investors and holders. It is understood that the ultimate utility lies in the long-term appreciation of the collection’s value.   • Staking Rewards – Loyalty rewards will unlock opportunities such as early access to new releases, limited edition drops and irl events.

 

  • Engaging Gameplay – Participation in the game allows the opportunity to earn NFT’s and in-game assets

 

 

Utility

Whoozyverse Battle Royale Game

To date web3 games have been far from engaging, many are click to win browser games which cannot hold user interest for long. The goal of the Whoozyverse is to bring excitement and fun to the space while bringing the community together.

The Whoozyverse is developed with Unreal Engine 5. Both weekly and Monthly events are planned where rewards are available. Non-holders may participate in tournaments but will need to purchase tickets for entry. Revenue from all game related transactions such as tickets, in game assets (skins and weapons) will be used for the community.

There will be no spl token. Holders will earn “points” which will be used for in game purchases. Points will stay with the NFT not the user. To clarify NFT’s may be sold on marketplaces with unused points moving with the NFT itself.

The beta version is ready and available shortly after mint. Full game release is expected to be three months after mint.
The game will have multiple maps and multiple game modes available. The first available will be 1v1 2v2 and 5v5 Death Match.


Whoozy Production Hub

The B2B Production Hub is designed to cater to the needs of NFT projects. The primary objective is to offer production services enabling projects to deliver high quality merch for their communities. The hub will allow a streamlined solution that will empower projects by providing a quality product, timely delivery to overseas locations at a reasonable cost.

 

Revenue generated from the partnerships will be shared with Whoozy NFT holders to ensure the community also benefits from the success of the platform.

Red Room 

The mini design atelier will be the centre to get in contact with prominent NFT projects and establish a strong presence in Web3 by showcasing custom designs and products.

He became Art Director at L’Officiel magazine.

  • Celine – Head of Research and Brand Development

Celine has been a forex/crypto trader and consultant to NFT projects. Her talent in lies in detecting emerging trends and conducting thorough market research.

Seeker aims to utilise his experience on NFT market to develop sustainable and analytical ways to drive growth

 

Review

Game & Mint Funds

Upon reviewing the whitepaper, I was immediately drawn to the concept of the Whoozyverse. The impressive quality of the trailers further reinforced my interest, hinting at a potentially great gaming experience. One commendable aspect of the project is the team’s dedication, having utilised their own funds to develop the game. It is important to note that initially, only the demo version will be available before utilising mint funds to complete the rest of the game.

While the allocation of mint funds seemed somewhat unclear due to the absence of specific percentages, the whitepaper indicated a significant portion would be directed towards expanding the Whoozyverse and rewarding the community with incentives. The game is not limited to holders only, there will be periods where free to play is available. This I find smart as the barrier to enter for a trial is low therefore more appealing.

What sets Whoozy apart from many other projects is its emphasis on building a community that shares a common interest. Gaming, with its potential for 2v2 and 5v5 Death matches, provides a platform for people to connect and form friendships.

Merch & Art

Regarding the Whoozy production hub and merch platform, it is worth acknowledging the challenging competition in this sector. Numerous platforms offer similar products, and difficult market conditions might not favour easy client acquisition for utilising the production hub.

The merch aspect presents a delicate balancing act between providing high-quality products and focusing solely on profitability. Whoozy, however, seems to have a unique edge with its diverse range of offerings, such as motorcycle jackets, denim jackets, and raincoats, which distinguishes them from the usual hoodies and shirts offered by other platforms.

The retro theme adopted by Whoozy is commendable, although the choice of art using the humanoid characters poses a challenge. Humanoids can be either well-received or a fail in the space, not much in-between.
