Rove World are striving to create the quintessential Web3 entertainment ecosystem. Through their mobile app, holders can engage with Rove World and be eligible for NFT drops, blockchain-based ticketing and engagement with various brands, artists and creators launching their products and onboarding fanbases into Web3.

With existing high-profile partnerships such as Tommy Hilfiger, Rove World are looking to make waves in bridging the gap between Web3 and the broader Web2 consumer audience.
As it stands, the Rove World app has been downloaded in every continent (except Antarctica for obvious reasons) and over 100 countries
Whilst the project is currently based on Solana, the team have made it clear their ambitions to expand this across multiple chains, starting with their partnership with NEAR Protocol.
More recently they’ve hosted events for the MonkeDAO and Claynosaurz communities which garnered a lot of positive attention.
Rove World Founder, Jason Desimone, recently featured on an episode of the Marc Colcer Podcast which can be viewed below.
The Rove World Ecosystem revolves around Rove Credits. Rove Credits can be purchased outright through the app, or earned through staking of the Medallion NFTs. There are three tiers within the medallions and their earn rates are as follows:
Holders of rarer medallions will also be given earlier and higher levels of access within the app.
Rove Credits can then be used as follows:
Events Supported/Held by Rove at the time of writing include:
Expect many more to come!
You don’t necessarily need to be a Medallion holder to engage with the ecosystem as Credits can be purchased directly. However, Medallion holders do get priority access to experiences around the world and future Rove Launches.
In the future, there will be ways for non-Medallion holders to earn Rove Credits, however Medallions will remain the peak earner.
To help promote the app, users can share their link to others. Once the app has been downloaded 3 times from a user’s link, they will receive an Access Pass. We don’t have any information on what they will be used for in the immediate future, but we have been told that the lower the number on the Access Pass (i.e. the earlier it gets minted), the better.
In March, Rove World launched their first Sweepstakes with a y00ts t00b as the prize. The current Sweepstakes opportunity is for a Claynosaurz, with those having attended Rove’s Clayno events also getting free tickets.

I don’t think it’s unreasonable to say that the key to Crypto’s future is widespread adoption by the broader population. An essential part of the adoption equation is best described in a quote I heard (and I apologise to who I heard it from but I cannot recall who you were).
A key aspect of adoption is that people should not need to be aware that they are interacting with the Blockchain when using the technology.
Rove World have absolutely hit the nail on the head with the development of their app. The UI is incredibly clean and intuitive. Being able to link your account/wallet to your social media profile of choice removes the need to remember private keys or seed phrases.
Bringing everyday rewards programs to an all-in-one Web3 platform has a big future in my personal opinion. Bridging the gap between brands and artists and their respective fanbases adds another dimension which I’m personally very excited about. The potential to use credits for deals on products or tickets to see my favourite artists is a huge appeal for me. The very intuitive interface of the app also makes me optimistic that this can be picked up by the everyday person with little to no complication.
From a brand’s perspective, the app presents a huge opportunity for companies to get live analytics on their audience and help identify their most loyal fanbases which should be a huge appeal for them.
One of the more impressive aspects of the project for me was the team involved. In his role as Head of Blockchain for the Ubik Group, Jason has led the organisation in bringing Web3 solutions to the real world. With experience in integrating software solutions for clients including American Express, Amazon and Coinbase, I think it’s fair to say that they have a good track record in the space.
An example of this is Jason and several members of the Rove World team were responsible for building the first zero-knowledge proof on the Ethereum blockchain in 2018.
My initial concern was based on that the fact that most events occur in either Europe or the United States. As such I wondered if those in other parts of the world would be left without the same opportunities. I was fortunate enough to be able to speak directly to the team who reassured that they have every intention of scaling Rove World to every corner of the world, especially the Africa and Asia markets. The fact that the app has been downloaded across the world is enough of an incentive to make sure users are not left behind based on location.
Overall, the goal of promoting adoption, the cleanliness of the app and the quality shown in the Rove World team have me very excited about what they will be producing.
