Rotten Eggs is a community based project aiming to be an animated Tv show with a collection of 10000 NFTs. 4988 Rotten eggs, 4988 Fresh eggs, 12 rotten legendaries and 12 hero legendaries. They have had a meeting with comedy central and are in the final stages where Seth Mcfarland (guy who created family guy etc) who is the owner of comedy central has to approve. If you have one of the 24 legendary eggs you will get rev share from the tv show and if you hold a regular rotten egg or fresh egg you have the chance for you NFT to be featured in the tv show and get Imdb credit.
Staking
Stake your Rotten egg NFTs to earn either Yolk or Rotten Serum, Yolk Serum can be used to cure rotten eggs and turn them into fresh eggs or make your hero egg even more hero. Rotten Serum can turn fresh eggs into rotten eggs and also make your rotten egg even more rotten.
Rotten hot sauce
Rotten Eggs is releasing its own hot sauce with two flavors, a mild and an extremely hot version, holders will be able to connect their wallets directly to the site and purchase our products in crypto. Holders also get 20% off all of our Rotten egg products. 100 NFTs will be airdropped to holders at random, lucky winners will be able to claim a free bottle of hot sauce.
Animated series
For the non legendary holders will have a unique chance to be a part of an animated series. Owning any of the non legendary eggs enters you into a casting raffle to have your egg featured as an extra in an episode, you will also receive iMDB credit. For legendary owners, one of the 24 legendaries enters in into a raffle that will allow you to have a co-star role in the show with actual lines. You will receive iMDB credits and voice actor compensation. Owning a legendary also grants you exclusive content, including never before seen BTS of the show, bloopers, and in depth look of how the animation is made. Owning a legendary also gives you the opportunity for a private Q&A with the creator.
Eggucation
Throughout the year, the team will be offering free eggucation as a way to give back to the community. Eggucation will be taught by their eggucator Calvin Williams, who has spent the last five years and tens of thousands of dollars gathering knowledge and experience in the world of trading. He is now giving it out for free to rotten egg holders.

Pros: If you get a chance to mint a legendary rev share could be huge if the tv show makes it big time you also get to be a co-star and have actual lines in the show. The founder of the project has quit his job and put everything he has into this project. They have a big team of around 15 or 16 people so have potential to get things done at a faster pace. Really cool animations you can see on their twitter made by an animator that has done works for Justin Bieber, Allesso, marshmellow to name a few. They have a hot sauce where holders of their NFT get 20% off. (seems weird but if you like hot sauce then that’s a win)
Cons: If you don’t mint one of the 24 legendary eggs or get your NFT onto the tv show there’s no form of rev share for you. If Seth Mcfarland doesn’t approve the show could be a major setback for the tv show. 10,000 nft collection is quite big for a bear market mint i still think it will sell out but always have to be cautious of this. Individuals who are currently whitelisted will have the opportunity to buy ahead of the crowd along with the ability to buy in bulk. There will be NO LIMIT to the number of NFTs that you can reserve. The cost will be under the following structure: 1-3 NFTs: 2.5 SOL each 4-5 NFTs: 2.35 SOL each 6-9 NFTs: 2.2 SOL each 10+ NFTs: 2 SOL each ex: if you buy 7 NFTs, you total cost will be (3×2.5)+(2×2.35)+(2×2.2) = 16.6 SOL I see this as a con unless you have the opportunity to do so i see there being a large amount of selling volume from flippers that have the potential to buy 100s for under mint price really seems silly.
My thoughts on this project are i can see a lot of hype around the project and can see a pump coming if the TV show is approved. Getting a legendary Egg could be a huge win but i see the chances being very slim but you know what people are like we may be able to pick up a legendary from some paper hands on secondary. The projects funds are split into 35% animation series, 25% hot sauce, 20% team salary, 12% mint payouts, 8% for future drops which i think is a fair distribution of funds and evenly spread out.
I think the biggest downfall for the project is the presale mint that’s bit of a spanner if your not whitelisted it seems most people will mint a shitload of eggs hoping for legendary and then sell the rest and still make money. I can see this dipping below mint price TBH even with the amount of hype it has behind it. It has potential but also everything relies on it being approved for tv which their are no guarantees.
