Claynosaurz is an IP project owned and run by successful artists and marketers from web2. They have worked on productions from Marvel, The Lego movie, Despicable Me and many more.
Claynosaurz is working to bridge the gap from web2 to web3.
Many professional artists won’t touch web3 as they are not educated in the space and have only heard the negative aspects that are portrayed by mainstream media. The team at Claynosaurz have experience in the web2 space, are credible and have connections. By speaking the language of artists they plan to onboard more into the space.
Current studio business models are to spend millions of dollars creating animations for mainstream consumers with no feedback until the finished product is released. It either sticks or it doesn’t posing a huge risk. By using web3 artists won’t require the huge initial capital outlay. They can release short form content and gauge consumer reaction allowing for pivoting if required
By using the web3 space artists have the ability to connect with their community and consumers, create and interact with their fan base.
With long term goals Claynosaurz plan on launching a Creative Studio where creators can get access to a toolset to assist artists to create collections and easily make the transition from traditional platforms into web3
Collections under the Claynosaurz banner are
The main collection. Rarity does not play a part at this stage, other than the Ancients which were a limited number. The project is more about community building, finding your tribe and building the IP brand together. Popular species and traits rotate. Currently the most sought after traits are the Apres skin and the colours Mist(white) and Charcoal(black)
Sardinhas were a free Pre-Mint airdrop given out in Lisbon, during Breakpoint in early November. There are only 222 Sardinhas, they will be used with a Claymaker, Clay and 1.69sol to create a Giant Egg. Unconfirmed but there hints about these attracting sky chickens (Pterodactyl)

Dropped to unlisted holders for free. These have 3 variations, they will break so this is a deflationary collection. The first edition is the entry level. It has low durability and will break after a single use. The deluxe model (purple) has good durability and will break after 5 uses. The limited (gold) has a lifetime warranty and will never break. All Claymakers share the same cooldown period after use. Claymakers will be an essential part to the progression throughout the Acts and the Lore. They act as a forge to burn clay and create armour for raids your Claynos will be on.
Airdropped to unlisted holders this will be burned in the forge. Different colour combinations will allow for different class selection. Choose wisely as once applied the class is binding.
Now as to how this all comes together. Clayno’s will be raiding. Raids will be a gamified style similar to World of Warcraft. Taking into account attributes. This may be species of Claynosaurz, equipped armour and skillsets or even herd makeup. Adding another layer of gamification. What we are raiding for is yet to be disclosed but it will tie in to the lore.
Croissants, Tacos and Pizzas were found at irl events inside Booster packs. Croissants and Tacos are rumoured to be representing special kinds of armour and Pizzas are said to be for a little rat friend for your Claynosaurz.
Artifacts are rare foils which were also found in booster packs, with only 20 in existence. There are 5 from each artist. Each Artifact can be forged into a gear piece designed by the artist

These could also be found inside Booster Packs. There are only 4. These are ultra rare. Cans are mutators, and can be burned to redeem a Legendary Clayno, designed by the artist.
Clayno has partnered with Octo Gaming to produce a mobile game that is available on both Google Play and in the Apple Store.

Clayno has really taken Solana by storm. The cute Dinosaurs have become one of the front runners to take the top spot when Degods leave to ETH and yOOts to Polygon.
The team behind this have used very clever techniques to keep people interested while they build. The airdrops of both Claymakers and Clay ensured floor price held strong while the community bonds were formed.
This combined with the Clayno intern who is undoubtedly the most creative and fun interns on Twitter has ensured Clayno stayed in the spotlight.
The project founders are loved by all and have even appeared in a fantastic interview with Marc Colcer.

My concern is now moving into the next phase of the projects timeline. With so many collections out there one might describe this as ponzi like behaviour but this is not the case.
Clayno have established themselves as a loved brand on Solana and many have shared in their irl experiences with events in LA and NY being the most recent.
How they move into this next phase and keep their holders engaged while they build their animation will be crucial. Keep an eye on Claynosaurz.
