ABC is a collection based purely around Art that was created by HGE.SOL – https://twitter.com/HGESOL – as a way to remind the community of how fun things were when we were all kids.
It has no team, no utilities, no roadmap, no royalties and no ‘official’ website or twitter. Meaning it is 100% community owned.
The collection was not your typical launch. In fact, HGE released the whole 10,000 piece collection all at once on the secondary market allowing buyers to pick which artwork they liked the most.
Each piece was listed for 1.23 SOL featuring 14 different types of entities, each occupying a certain percentage of the collection. None of the collection has any official rarity aside from 100 NFTs named ‘1/1’ which were reserved for contributors in the past and future making up 1% of the total collection. As there is no official team, a special group within the community was formed called ‘ABC V3NTURES’.
What is ABC V3NTURES?
ABC V3NTURES is a group of ‘whales’ that collectively hold a large portion of the collection. In order to gain access to this group you must hold 30+ ABC NFTs. The purpose of the group is to invest in initiatives and projects that bring the child-like creativity of the ABC collection to the market. ABC V3NTURES is an integral part the community, and its members play a crucial role in shaping the future of the collection.
ABC is also CC0, which means ‘No Rights Reserved’. This allows anyone to use the IP for any purpose they see fit without the restrictions of copyright law making ABC permissionless to use and tie into another project.

Firstly, its important to note that HGE.SOL is also the founder of popular Automated Market Maker (AMM) NFT Marketplace, Hadeswap.
He also said prior to release “Do not buy if you expect the floor price might go up. Do not buy if you expect I will do anything to pump the collection. Do not consider this as an investment of any kind”. This is not a ‘project’ its just Art that he resonates with.
This collection amassed a lot of interest in its first week as it released on MagicEden. The entire Solana Ecosystem had done 35k volume where as ABC alone did over 40k and hit Rank 1 volume on Opensea which is a huge feat in itself.
HGE stated “Mint funds are around the cost of bringing the collection to life. I prepaid all costs upfront”. This explains why the collection was not just listed as a free mint and instead had a 1.23 SOL purchase price. On top of that, the artists involved were paid an upfront fee to avoid having to pay lifetime royalty fees.
12,000 SOL was the net amount from the sale of 10,000 NFTs and HGE said “I will update constantly on where those funds are being used”. He plans to have all profits put back into supporting the Solana Ecosystem.
In conclusion, while HGE did say not to look at this with an investor mindset, it seems ABC has caught the attention of collectors and investors alike. ABC has indeed appreciated in value since it first came to the secondary market with the current floor price at time of writing sitting around the 40 SOL mark. In saying that, don’t expect too much from this collection as it was created purely for the Art.
Solana is still very young when it comes to high valued Art but as more collectors make their way into the Solana Ecosystem, ABC could be one to keep an eye on.
