PayPal has announced that its PayPal USD (PYUSD) stablecoin now operates on the Solana blockchain. This move aims to enhance commerce use cases with faster and cheaper transactions. Solana, known for its speed and cost efficiency, is the leading blockchain for stablecoin transfers. PYUSD, also available on Ethereum, can now be bought on major exchanges like Crypto.com, Coinbase, and Kraken.
